Trans cooler install question So I'm installing my cooler on my 07 ss, I have read the sticky about installing and also the sticky on gmls4 forums as well however I do have a couple questions if anyone wouldn't mind answering . Which if I've been reading correctly is capable of being used alone to cool the tranny with no problem, but it was sent with rubber hoses. Will this pose a problem cause I've seen the steel hoses be used and how would I install to the tranny? If anyone has a link on a guide is appreciate it

That cooler in my opinion is way too small to use in stand alone configuration.
I made a post when I installed the one in my GXP, should be similar for your car. maybe this will help, if not keep searching as there are lots of posts on this subject. Rubber hoses are fine, most every install uses them, Good luck with the install.

Thank you so much for replying as quickly as you did, and I'm kinda in a situation like you were, we don't have very hot temps here, living in Saint Louis , the only times are on during the usual summer months which are like 4 months max, other than that it's pretty cold, like now it's around 60-70 at max. So I was thinking if I bypass it, it would take longer for everything else to heat up. I've been seeing a lot of people use these as single in lines but I haven't really decided. Ive only just now really been itchin to put one on after almost two years of having my car lol.
It's a relief to know the rubber hose is still perfectly fine.
