Question Just got the Predator Tune!!

i just got the diablo predator today and uploaded the performance tune, i still need to try and get some kind of gas mileage after all. it does feel alot better. Do i have to adjust the program to get rid of the mph limit and to raise the rpm limit? Or does it already do it automatically?

the mph limit should be all set automagically I believe, and the RPM limit you can bump up yourself in the tool, but it will only take affect if you're manually shifting the car...

hit this up and get yourself some quicker throttle response, acceleration and more power:

as I had mentioned a while back in some forum, I wonder if - since the tranny and engine are still exactly the same - you could take an ECM and TCM from an '06 and just plug them in?? assuming of course that you've had it flashed with your VIN...

then you'd be able to use the Predator

Just rid yourself of that pesky DoD and track your mileage for the first 2 tankfulls...don't think you'll lose much mileage...i didn't.

good deal... I'm running the "Dialbo Tune No DOD" tune for 93 octane, so I'm always in V8 mode and my mileage went UP... with 50/50 highway miles to town miles, I'm getting 20 mpg....

can't beat that for having the power I do!!

With the 91 octane non DOD my mileage went from 20.4 mpg to 18.4 mpg, i have not been able to get the tuner to interface with my laptop using the usb to serial cable. is there a 93 octane tune available, or only the 91 ocatna one? i will bring the tuner with me tomorrow for some data logging after work. i just installed the K&N instake kit last night and the car does feel and sound better!

i installed my new K&N intake kit and i just checked my mileage and with the 91 octane non DOD tune i am averaging 20.1 mpg, which turns out to be a .2 mpg drop from the stock tune with DOD. Not to bad i think for having alot more power!

my magic numbers are -10 in injector slope and +12 on PE.

Went ahead and put in the Diablo DOD tune (modified) and have yet to run any real miles on it yet, but it better get real good mileage to make up for the surge/clunk when it swaps states. Very annoying.

Also, that tune popped a P0700 (tranny) code right away, once cleared it seemed to work fine.
