So the front bowtie was a biotch to remove, what will the easiest way be to remove the trunk emblem, w/o the mess???

75* day / full sun with a hairdrier? I don't have a heat gun.

Thanks!

I just used a hair dryer for all of my stuff that I removed... and it was inside a non-heated garage during the fall... hair dryer worked fine...

I used some 3m wax and adhesive remover and some dental floss. Had to get rid of that huge Chevy bowtie on the back.

I used the hairdryer method on my trunk bowtie during the winter...the heat of the sun for the grille bowtie in the summer months. My biggest mistake was using a paper towel to remove the residual adhesive from the trunk, as opposed to a microfiber cloth...left some hairline scratches behind.

Goo-Gone orange-based cleaner works great in getting off all the adhesive.

Use some of that adhesive remover on a hot day and it will come off as easy as your mama's pants.

I used nothing but a hairdryer on a warm (70 degree) day and a body filler spreader(plastic and pliable)

From there most of the adhesive came off, but there was a little left I picked off with my fingernail.

From there I just used a little scratch remover to get the light scratches off the black paint

And it's sooooo pirty.

But then you'll need to cut off the exhaust tips and downsize the wheels. Go with Heavy-Duty black steelies with the PoPo centercaps and there you go...complete SLEEPER! That would be HAWT!
