no, the Monte's are done come June... May 4th is the last day they can be ordered, and production stops in June. Then they begin to retro-fit the Oshawa plant to build the new camaro and rwd Impala...

who know whats going to happen since GM put a hold on developing the v8 rear drive cars other than camaro due to the increasing government demand on better fuel mileage. i read somewhere gm knows that their current designs for the v8 rear drive cars wont meet the new regulations unless they put the gas guzzler take on all of them like the vette.
Me on the other hand have been a fan of the 3rd gen montes, lightest weight montes ever made, even my 496 big block my 78 monte weighs in at 3400lbs with full carpet, stereo, AC and every option chevy put on them, now you try that with the 4th gen monte and your pushing nearly 4000lbs.
