Default PIAA 4150K Xtreme White H11

Well, I got a wild hair up my a$$ last week and started looking for PIAA bulbs on the net, and I found a real good deal on Ebay. So good, I didn't think I could pass it up. So, I didn't.

Anyway, I got 2 sets, 1 for the lows and 1 for the fogs (didn't want to be mismatched ). They cost me just under $130 shipped for all of them.

I'm pretty happy with them. While they don't seem a whole lot brighter than the stockers, they're definitely whiter, and they look so much cooler.

Here you go...

Wow. A big difference. How reliable at 135.00?

I put the Silverstones on the wife's GTP and the longivity isn't there. I had to replace the bulbs after 6-8 months of usage so I went back to stock. At 30.00 a pop, it's gets expensive. I really liked the brightness of them, but couldn't see the investrment.

Guessing you meant Silverstars? If you really got silverstones, that would explain why they didn't last (cheap knockoffs). Silverstars are great IMO, lasted more than a couple years in my Explorer...just not available for the Imp in the H11 and H9 sizes.

Yea, I'm satisfied with the PIAA's I got. Too bad the guy I got mine from for $35 a set doesn't have anymore.

Adding Piaa's to my Christmas list ... thanks for posting the pics Doc - just so happens I had a fog burn out this weekend! Just what I was looking for.

You get "brighted" with those in?

Actually No, I don't. While they're bright, they're not too bright, and eliminating the yellow tinge of the stockers helps too.

I can't stand that we have old-*** yellow bulbs--this is the 21st century, if toyotas have HIDs, we should have them too.
