I am also looking for one to help keep my Monte cool. Would that one work on a 07 or should I be looking at the hypertech powerstat 533-1028 from Jegs?

It looks like it will be a pain in the a$$ to change. I bought one months ago and still haven't changed it because of it being such a pain. Let me know if you have any advice after you change yours. Thanks.

Keep in mind even if you change your thermostat with a lower one, unless you change your fan turn on points with a tuner or something like that. It will drop faster once you start moving but in traffic it will still heat up the same. As far as installing its not that bad if you have alot of extensions (about 2 ft worth) and go behind the front exhaust manifold with a rachet/socket and all the extensions.

That doesn't sound like fun

Took all of 15 minutes including draining of the coolant some and then refilling after with a beer in between.
