I have the 3800performance mount also...this is what I am doing since i get the shudder in cold weather.
I contacted ed morad and I have a whole motor mount extra at home....15.00, not just the rubber piece the complete radiator mount...so now for the winter I am going to just swap out....so stock in the winter (flipped 90) and poly when it warms up.

I believe they are different...anyone got a pic of the GXP engine bay/mount? I think the bolt pattern is different. I've got one small bolt at the tip of the mount on the rad. support, and two larger bolts near the inner edge.
Gonna go look at the pics in the "painted my engine bay" thread.
Yup...different:

Hey guyz,
I just wanted to know if there are any updates as far as the shuddering some of you have been getting with the new mount. I am considering this mod once the weather warms up but I don't to do anything harmful to the engine and trans.
Thanks
Shaun

You can either try to twist & pry the rubber bushing out using a lot of wd40 and a BFScrewdriver, or you can just hack it to pieces with a knife or handsaw to get it out. Your choice. I took off the mount and put it in a vice, then used a sawzall and cut out the bushing.
To install the bushing, You just insert the two pieces (if it's a two-piece) and press them together...i used a vice to install the ZZP mount I used to have.
