My initial idea; don't drive 100 MPH on the street, problem solved!

Now, after rereading your post, it seems you are disapointed that you don't feel that pulsation at lower speeds and not that it does it at higher ones, so to 'fix' that just start braking earlier and more lightly than you are used to doing. That will get help promote the warping of your rotors (notoriously easy on these cars) and that should get you were you want to be at lower speeds.

If your post was trying to say that you are upset that they do it at high speed, then hit the brakes harder when you brake, that may even start to even out the rotors. Or you can simply keep driving 100 MPH on the street until you lose your license, then you don't have to worry about it at all.

The rotors do seem to warp VERY easily on these cars, I was on the highway a few days ago doing about 70 mph and there was traffic up ahead so I started slowing down. I didn't slam on the brakes, but I had to get on them somewhat hard to avoid the cars up ahead, and now the rotors are warped again. It's a little ridiculous, I just had the rotors cut at my last oil change ( 1500 miles ago)

Power Slot rotors, SS brake lines and Hawk HPS pads. The best brake upgrade for our cars.

Tell me more (or at least point me in the right direction). I could be arm twisted into dropping a few grand into brakes if they make that much difference.

My only issue is at highway speeds with a moderate to heavy application. I've had it since about 4K and the dealer asked me if I thought it was the ABS, to which I kindly replied no.

The powerslot rotors have more cooling vains in them, so they can really disapate the heat away from the rotor. They use a thicker materal on the rotor that doesnt worp as bad as the OEM ones and they last a really long time if you do the break in process the right way. They also have slots on them to keep the pads clean and bite really well. I had a pair of these on my 04 monte SS and they would grip like crazy. Also the HPS pads from Hawk are awesome. No noise at all, very little brake dust and the wear is outstanding. Here is the link to Powerslot and how they talk about the product and how they say to use the Hawk pads.

I have also thought about upgrading to the GXP rotors and pads, does anyone know if they will work on the Monte/Impala?

sounds interesting, no listing for the LS4 Impala yet, but if the pricing comes in like the trucks, it appears to be worth a closer look.

At about 5000 miles i had to get my rotors resurfaced the brakes were pulsating from 25mph up! Have another 3000 or so miles on them now and they are clean past 100mph

Don't worry about my license and don't assume i'm on the street. If anything was to prevent me from doing 100mph i would hope its crashing into you.

Not worried about you a bit. Matter of fact, I would bet <heavily> that nobody on these boards gives a tin whistle about your personal safety or the status of your license . They would be rather miffed if you plowed into them or their loved ones though. My hope is that you never have to find out what it is like to hurt someone because you are driving like an idiot. Not quite as cute and edgy as your hope, but there it is.
