I'm going to pull off my exhaust manifolds and crossover pipe and have them CERAMIC coated in two weeks. Ill be going with satin black. I was quoted 300 plus tax, so i figure everything should be around 350. I'm a little concerned about pulling the rear manifold though. I don't know if it will come off without pulling the engine. I may even have the throttle body ceramic coated too.
My next mod will be a ram air hood scoop or an inferno hood, with a 160 thermostat, Evens coolant and a spal fan controller

I would skip the scoop and go with a K&N CAI.

If your going to pull them off measure the hell out of them and get us good pics of all angles on these exhaust manifolds. Also have you thought about seeing if a machine shop will port and polish these before you get them coated? I know in the 3800 world PEMs are a lot better then the stock manifolds but only 1/2 as good as headers. But this might be a cheap alternative until headers show up.

I started to pull everything apart but the rear manifold is a b i t c letter H! Its been really cold outside lately, so I haven't really been too motivated but I still plan on getting the everything done! For now, I'm going to keep saving till spring.

Oh.. and I just got my 3" downpipe and 3" u-bend delete pipe so I planing on getting the exhaust installed real soon! I'm keeping the stock cat and going with 3" mandrel bent pipe into the split with 2 1/2" after. I'm thinking of using Edelbrock SCT mufflers or just using one of these

with no mufflers.

Has anyone here done an exhaust setup with no mufflers yet? Curious to see how it would sound.
