Who told you this would match up with the LS4?

I was talking with Max at Fast and he asked me to measure my Intake and their compaired it to theres and it matches up. Also, my speed shop guy called the GM dealer to as for the part number for an intake Manifold for an LS4 and I guess its the same part number as a LS2.

If it does work, I wonder how easy it will be to bolt on.

Should be as easy as taking off the TB and the 8 bolts holding down the intake now, replacing the gasket and putting the new one in, bolt on the TB and remap the computer.

I think...... But I "didnt" stay in a holiday inn express last night.

Sweet...Make sure you write it up with lots of pics, because I heard it can't be done.

I'm excited oddly...

I'd go with the 78mm one but for 900 bucks I'll pass. Some gears, a manifold with some headers wold be sick!

Do we have to use LS4 heads? If so then whats the difference between the LS heads

Oh and check this **** out!

Nope that wouldn't work. We have the good 253 casting heads though.

Heads should work just fine since the blocks the same as an LS2

Trick flows got a nice cam and head package as well, with smaller intake runners and combustion chambers. We'd need a new tune for sure of course.

Just imagine us using a Cam and head package with a performance intake, headers, converter and gears. Hp tuned with 3" exhaust split into dual 2 1/2 pipe.

STOP! read this first; https://ls1tech.com/forums/ls4-performance/679851-f-s-t-manifolds-ls4.html

while the external dimensions may be the same and a TB will fit, the DoD oil control system sticks up too far to let these work as well as having some of the connections in the 'wrong' place.
