Default 07 Impala SS questions

tons of stuff just have general questions on the 07 impy about.

parts

1 anyone know if hyper tech is gonna put out a programmer.

2 Is there a set of just slotted brake rotors, finding plenty of drilled/slotted ones just want slotted though.

track question(for anyone in Texas close to Austin)

just wanna know a list of tracks I can take the car out to that are within say 150-200 miles radius of Austin TX? Mainly just wanna do a couple of runs to get a base 1/4 mile time on the car before I start doing a lot of other mods.

tech question

I'll post the pic of my dyno runs it's gonna be crappy cause using digi cam since my scanner is dead but I'm so confused in what my car is doing.

I'm at a complete loss here as far as whats goin on, I dunno how to read a dyno sheet for anything. My main question is shouldn't I have more HP output while in in my final drive gear(overdrive) than in 3rd gear? In the pic the red line is the 3rd gear pull ran 230HP and blue line is drive run 177HP. other question is where I have the circles in the pic if you look you'll notice the HP/torque are rising then there is a drop off(more noticeable in the drive run) then climbs again till peak power and so forth(except drive we hit the 160 limiter and the car shut down) guess my question here is should i have the dyno redone as might be operator error there or is it something with the car?
here is a link to the vid of the dyno run if it helps from hearing the sound ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOzvOG8qzx0 )

Thanks in advance to all
Dave

I know there are at least a couple that are closer to you, around Austin. I just don't know where exactly. Go into the Texas section and look around, you can probably find out in there. The Houston track that is closest to you would be Lonestar Motorsports Park, in Sealy. John Hennessey (the guy who built that fast as **** Viper) owns it. It's not open all the time now, but I think in the Fall, you'll see it more often.

Have you checked out naioa daught com yet (North American Impala Owners Assoc.)? There are a few Texas members, mostly from Houston, and we try to get together every once in a while.

I'm in San Antonio and they have San Antonio Raceway and its closer to you then Houston is. It's a nice little NHRA track and you can go to their website (you have to google it because we don't link websites on here).
