I don't know about you all, but I'm dying to get a new Diablosport TCM tune into my car. It's been what seems like at least a month since they told us that they would have a beta tcm tune out for us.

To all you HP tuners. We know your tuner is superior...so lets keep comparisons between the two out of here. We've been waiting over a year, and the last thing we need to hear is that we should've spent out money on an HP.

Anyone else dying? Let's try to keep this thread alive until we get our beta tuning.

 

 

last thing I saw posted in diablo's forums was, "We are a few weeks out from having this completed." which was posted today...

 

That same post was repeated how many times over the last 6 months alone! I saw a funny thread on Diablo's forum a few days ago. One member went off on them saying he was going to sue them blah blah.

 

Yeah...every couple weeks they say they'll have a beta in another couple weeks.

 

As far as I am concerned, we have all been Beta testing their product since it was released, should never had sold it without the TCM capability. I recently went back to the stock tune, forgot what a pleasure it was to drive with smooth shifts and seemless DoD operation. Now, in their defense, when they claimed that it would be out by the end of Summer, they were non-specific on what year.

 

I'm waiting for a Diablo period for my 07 GXP. I have one for my totalled GTO, but wont work with 07s.

 

I wouldn't hold your breath on the 07 support. If you go to their website, it shows that they are all proud of being the first to market with the 08's. Shows where their resources are being spent.

 

 

I do the same thing for any long distance trip. When I get home I reinstall the non DOD performance tune with the tweaked trim and PE settings.

I stopped holding my breath for TCM a long time ago. I’m still looking forward to it and hope the DOD functionality comes back to where it should be. If not I’ll keep doing what I’m doing for the road trips.

I was a little disappointed with the online feud between a couple of our members on the Diablo site but I can understand the frustration of both of them. Sometimes only a public rant can get companies to get off their a$$ and deliver.

 

I've been waiting almost a year. I got excited when I saw there was a new download for our tuner on their website but it was an update for the GTOs,.

 

Quoted for the truth...I probably wouldn't have bought it if I knew it didn't come with the TCM settings. I assumed it did.

 

I hope so,wasn't that about the U7194?Anyway everytime I ask them all I get is "we are working on it" which isn't the best answer to give this late in the game.But I'll wait a while longer before looking into getting a hptuner.

Diablosport is cool....just a little slow on the scene for the TCM update. Just think of their sales if they released initially. Can anyone say "HOT?"

For diablosport tuners what do you guys exactly mean by TCM updates or TM???

 

Transmission Control Module. Shift pressure / firmness. The tool can’t talk to the trans computer. TM is Torque Management.
