2006 Monte SS performance parts!
Whats up everyone, this is my first Car forum and let me say that you guys have a **** load of info. A little about my self, I currently live in Alaska ( not by choice) I'm in the army. I love this Monte and was wondering if i could get some help on some things.
I have 1 huge question? Where do i find performance parts for my car? If anyone could list all the parts i can get for my car and where i can go to find them it would be greatly appreciated. The car is totaly stock ATM and ive raced alot in it and havent lost once. I intend to keep it that way. If you guys could help me out I would appreciate that.
Also i am looking into buying a diablo sport tuner for it. If anyone has one that could shed some light on whether its worth the 399? Thanks in advance guys.

I own a Diablo Predator and I would NOT buy one again unless (and AFTER) they deliver on their promise to provide TCM support. It is highly overpriced for the performance increase you get at the present time.

That being said, paying $399 is way too much. Search around and you'll find it for closer to $300.
As far as other performance parts...spend more time here and search for more info on what you're looking for.
There are 2 intakes available (K&N and CAI), one catback (magnaflow), the Diablo handheld tuner and HPtuner's tuning program (requires laptop but it considerably better than diablo ATM due to the tranny support), springs, rockers, rods, Strut tower braces...ummmm...sure there's more.
Have fun!

I went to the hogan website to check out the downpipes but im the kind of careful when i order **** cause it says for monte's 2000 and up.
Also I went to the K&N website and found an intake but it was only for the imp and gp. I Know they both have the LS4 but was wondering if anyone else has it on there monte and if it works the same for the monte? Also kind of a car newby so not familiar with CAI. ill google that and see if i can get a website. K thanks for the help guys.

1. Search Button is your friend on this website.
2. The Hogan pipes are used by ALOT of guys on this board, again the Search would've brought that up for you. Hogan also lists the DP7 and DP9 I believe as 2006-2007 Monte/Impala along with GXP.
3. If you go to K&N's website, they will list the same part # for the Monte, As the Impala and GXP. Same motor, same setup.
Not trying to be a dick, but the search can be a great tool in helping you find info on stuff.
