Question New front brakes.... could rears be warped?

So I replaced the front rotors and pads with R1 concept drilled and slotted rotors and put new akebono ceramic pads up there but am still getting a shimmy when I brake. It doesnt seem as bad but I figured after doing the fronts it would be gone. I have about 28000 miles on my car. The front rotors were cut by the dealer around 6000 miles, and replaced around 15000. They never touched the rears. Could they be the culprit here? I'd hate to spend the money replacing the rears and still have issues. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Have you had your tires balanced?

yea, about a week before i put the brakes on I had 4 Eagle F1 AS tires put on and there was no change in the way the car braked after they were put on. I did notice a little more rode noise but a much better handling car over the crappy RSA's

Front warped rotors will shimmy in the steering wheel; rear end troubles would be felt more in the seat of the car.

Rear brake troubles (lock-ups) will feel like the rear was being pulled down, like it was being yanked by a chain, or worse start to come around on you in a corner.

I never adjusted the bias on these cars, but past experience was at least 2 sets of front brakes before the rears needed to be considered.

Did you grease the slides and make sure everything was free of debris when you put everything back together.

Yea, I did em just like i have in the past and never had problems. Thats why i'm kinda leaning towards rear brakes being the culprit. I just have a hard time thinking rear brakes are warped after 28000 miles of mostly highway driving......

Why does he have to grease the slides... you don't have to take the caliper apart to replace the pads ? :-\
