The engine is going to wind up faster on the spray which means he's going to see 3rd gear sooner and he is still spraying in 3rd. It just seems he should be closer to 13.0's maybe high 12 second passes. I managed 2.1 60 ft. times and I am a new to drag racing. Obviously Kiss is a good driver, with spray and DR's he would easily be in the 12's.
you apparently have no idea what happens when you try and rope 400 ft lbs to the front tires.

Stock we do not have 400 ft lbs. Most aren't even putting 300 to the ground. What am I missing?

It seems Area was refering to the 100 shot, that would put the torque at the wheels well over 400 lb-ft...

I see. I hope to try and find out how hard it is to rope 400 ft lbs to the front tires in October. I will have my nitrous system installed for the LSX shootout in Memphis.

Have fun there, I haven't gone to the track yet with this car (my other black one that got totaled is the one in the times thread)...there's a lot of cars there that will hand you your ***.

I got it handed to me alright. I ran a best of 14.2 @ 96mph in the bracket race and I averaged 14.53 for the True Street challenge portion of the event. Like I said in an earlier post, I am new to drag racing. I had been to the track about 4 or 5 times prior to that event. I finished like 4th or 5th from the bottom of the pack and I was the lone fwd car. I did not care because I had a blast. You would be surprised at how many people do not know our cars have v8 engines and then even more shocked to see it in fwd package. I totalled a black '06 MC SS in Oct. '06. I was mad for more than a week until I realized how lucky I was to be alive.
