Default How many 08 GP GXP they make?
I was reading High performance pontiac magazine, and it shows 05,06,07 GXP productions stats but doesn't show 2008, and it says in 30 years the GXP will be a collector due to low production rate.

I wonder if Crimson Red is a rare color for a GP GXP don't see to many of them around.

This is from Club GP. Some guy got his dealer to ask GM...here's the email:


Here is your answer from Detroit:

The final production volume for 2008MY GP was 64,403 units.

BASE SDN (2WP69) = 59,620 (92.6%)
SPORT SDN (2WC69) = 4,783 (7.4%)
TOTAL (ALL MODEL GROUP) = 64,403 (100%)

I wonder how many Monte/Imp SSs they made. When I traded my 03 Monte SS for my GXP in July, I was going to get a newer Monte SS but found them harder to find than my GXP.

2005 Model Year: 2,019 Total GXPs built:
2006 Model Year: 5,586 Total GXPs built
2007 Model Year: 2,501 Total GXPs built
2008 Model Year: 4,783 Total GXPs built

Total GXPs produced (2005-2008): 14,889

I have one of the Sport SDN its only has 52K and 18 months on the extended warranty. The warranty put in a new Transmission one year ago. and its fast, fast, fast. A new Charger thought he was going to walk away at 130 he backed out of it. I had more peddle but didn't show off.

I just bought a 2008 GP GXP Red Jewel with 49k miles. Any idea how many were made that color? I’ve never seen one until mine.
