Default Subwoofer power lead thru firewall

I thought I saw a suggestion on where to run my 10 gage power wire from the sub to the battery in here. I have searched but cannot find it. Anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks in advance,

I think there was one where they took a lead from the rear speaker or amp harness if you have the bose amp radio.

Ive got an 07 GXP and I think I did mine in the best possible spot. Peel back the carpet a bit on your passengers side floorboard right below the glovebox and theres a nice big black grommet towards the floor you can drill/cut through.

i would just save the time and put 0 gauge so you never have to rewire. My 0 gauge bearly holds 2,000 watts @ 13feet or so of cable

or you could be super cool and do it this way:

no rubbing or issues with damage to the cabling and a heck of a lot easier to get to than the grommet under the carpet.

dont do it this way...please...i have had to work on plenty of **** because people do **** this way..the WRONG way.

Open your hood and with a 10mm socket take out your computer (passenger side corner) Behind it there is a rubber grommet...run the wire there and down under your carpet. I can do this wire run in less than 5 min so YOU spend 30 min your first time and take your time to do it right.

BTW 4 guage is fine unless you are running over 2000 watts rms....10 gauge is tooooo small unless you are running a tiny amp (under 200 watts)

Sorry to drag a VERY old post up, but I would love to see how running a wire from what is under the airbox would help in ANY way.

Please do show us all mighty 427Cya

Cool... I was a bit concerned about trying to run it through the pass side grommet because it would be less than an inch from the exhaust manifold.

Thanks for digging this up. My speakers and amp came today. I got the 4 gauge cable in a kit. Yeah, I'm guilty of running my LED wires through the door grommet, but hey, it works good for me. Hopefully will start tackling the project next week.
