Cai?

Well that's your call. Some have made fender-well intakes for much less! Just need some experience and time along with a good cone filter. But with that said I've also heard of water troubles with a fender-well set up! Prolly not much to really worry 'bout but just try in' to inform ya. And will likely have to hack off some inner-fender well to make it fit just right. But if you make a good set-up, please post some pics. and dyno results! And as always, good luck!

I have a drop in K&N Intake for sale for $25 + shipping. You could run it and open up the bottom of your airbox and have something much better then stock but a lot cheaper then a CAI set up.

I have the K&N kit for my GXP. Is it worth $300? I'm not so sure. I paid $280 for mine. I noticed more torque when I put mine on. I could be rolling and still trip the tires when I stomped it. My 1/4 mile time improved a bit as well. If you have the money, I'd go with it. Besides torque, the kit itself looks great in the engine compartment as opposed to a lot of homemade kits.

i kinda like the look of the cold air inductions intake vs stock vs k&n but i wonder what torque and hp diferences there are between the cold air inductions intake vs the k&n

Anyone have this intake? I was thinking of ordering it without the cone filter and ordering a k+n x-stream filter to work with this instead of actually ordering the kit. I think I can find the coupler cheaper also. If you own this intake what are your thoughts on the quality of it. Thanks
