Default HP tuner for sale..

I have a H Tuner I am selling,Bought it off this board a while back,But never used it.I did access the account,And have everything set up in my name.

Here is the link I bought it from... https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts...s-forsale.html

I just want it gone...sold all the toys except the Gn..And that will be going soon also.

$300 Shipped....I was told It would work on any 98 or 02,But have not got a chance to try it out.

also..Paypal not a problem.

Thanks,Shawn

Not sure how to tell....I was told it would work on any 98 or 02 Model year Ls1...I never got to try it out,I live right near Cartek...And decided to have them tune the car instead.Especially since I dont know what Im doing when it comes to tuning.

The guy I got it from seemed very honest and had a good rating on here.

I will post back up and update the Credit count when I find out how to tell how many there are...if any.

Pretty much everything..Here is a link to the website http://www.hptuners.com/index.php

You can look around there and get a good Idea of what can be done with the setup...Its one of the units alot of tuners actually use when tuning a car.

Can you get some pics of it? Perferrable both end view so I know what you're selling. I'm interested but I need to make sure you're selling the serial or USB unit. You can email me the pics at darknessxyz@yahoo.com.

FYI (correct me if I'm worng), there's TWO version of HP Tuner; Older serial unit and newer USB unit. The old HP Tuner serial unit DO NOT use credit system, they unlock the full VIN year/model when you license it. There's TWO year/model full VIN unlock slot included with you first bought it. Assuming the OP has older serial unit, he used one slot for a 98 F-body another slot for 02 F-body. It won't has any credit left since it DO NOT USE CREDIT SYSTEM. To license anything other than 98 and 02 F-body, you pay $199 to unlock another full VIN year/model, up to 4 year/model. After 4 year/model is $399 each year/model. You can upgrade to newer USB unit that use credit system for $199 from HP Tuner, ended by Sept 09.

The new HP Tuner MPVI (Std and Pro) USB unit DO use credit system. IT comes with 8 credit when you bought it new and $50 each additional credit. If the OP has newer USB unit and unlocked full VIN 98 and 02 F-body, then not only he doesn't have any credit left, he needs to buy FOUR extra credit to get it done (6 credit each year/model, total 12 credit require).

Hope that answer the questions.

thanks for the Info...I will get some pics out to you,It is the serial model...It connects to the comp with the 9pin connector.Im sure a serial to usb connector could be used for somebody that does not have a 9pin serial port connection on there laptop.

The sicker on the unit reads...VCM Suite,Enhanced I/O v2.0 if that helps at all.
