This is out of my dads street/show SS camaro.This car is top notch!
Everything is extremely well taken care of.Setup has won MANY car shows.Here is the list.

Engine 530rwhp NA
LME 408 ci iron block
lunati pro billet rods
lunati 4in crank
custom wiesco nitrous pistons 4.030 bore 11/1 C.R.
ARP main studs
ARP 1/2 head studs
o ringed and reciever groove
copper head gaskets
LME ported oil pump
custom camshaft(specs givin to buyer)
morel hydrolic lifters
AFR judson port, big bore heads hand ported @ LME(355cfm,258cfm exh.)
Dual springs good to 660lift
custom pushrods
Jesel rocker arms

Motor has under 10k miles on it.It makes 530rwhp (have dyno sheets)through a 6 speed,and a 9in rear as long as you have all the supporting mods.electric street water pump,underdrive pulley,1 7/8 stepped 2in headers,fast 90mm intake.None of this will come with the motor.Motor does however come with all covers and il pan.Will hold a 300 shot all day and has before!

Looks a little more like 12k to me before machine work.Before you go typing your ignorance in my thread newbie,try researching a little more.This isn't some cookie cutter texas speed 408ci with eagle crank and rods.This is a LME motor with all the good stuff.Which is why it makes 530 to the tires!

im guessing you havent looked at the price upgrade on a 408 when your going with a scat/eagle part vs lunati.. not to mention your getting ported heads that flow over 350cfm and have upgraded valve springs.

shortblock doesnt come with a cam or lifteres either..

bump for some high $$$ parts.

I will sell the direct port alone if you want.As it sits right now it has a $600 stand alone fuel system with regulator,a $550 nano pusher system,$250 billet pull pin remavable bottle bracket,air brushed botle.etc. etc.IF you want jus the direct port kit alone.I can break it down.I thought i wold offe a complete sstem first.ell i bet we have close to $4500 in this setup.

I've been on this site for a looongg time and yes I know how much a good 408 cost since I've owned 3 of them and I know that 530 is weak as **** for a motor with this much **** in it...

11/1 C.R. Most n/a setups are 11.5:1 or 11.75:1

530 is hardly "weak as ****" guess your three 408s must have made 600whp n/a huh?


Most 408 shortblocks are 3500-4000. then you add another 2k in options...

The lunati rods are an $800 option over the eagles and the crank is $1,100 over the eagle. and arp main kit is $200. Puts the price for THIS shortblock around $6,000.

So for an extra $1500 your getting

ARP 1/2 head studs $280 plus $400 machining on block and heads
o ringed and reciever groove $400
copper head gaskets $180
LME ported oil pump $150
custom camshaft(specs givin to buyer) $450
morel hydrolic lifters $400
AFR judson port, big bore heads hand ported @ LME(355cfm,258cfm exh.) $3400
Dual springs good to 660lift
custom pushrods
Jesel rocker arms $900
The AFR heads are around 2400-2500 alone without porting... A cam kit, (cam, valvetrain w/ upgraded springs, pushrods, etc) is usually around 600-800.

if you dont want it fine, but dont bash on something thats more expensive because it has alot more high $$$ parts in it.

you shouldn't come into a guys thread badmouthing it. If you have a problem with price keep it in PM's. It's really disrespectful. O/P goodluck with the sale. If for some LUCKY reason it's available in a month or two(doubt it) i may take it off your hands. I've been looking to build a 408 but am realising it may be easier to just buy

530rwhp for a 408 is weak??? If you don't like the price MOVE on. But posting mental sewage like what you have been doing is just a waste of time.
