Default Dart 205 Heads For Sale - Used

Dart 205 heads with 10K miles on them. Never raced or tracked. Heads were disassembled when new and the ports were sanded to remove the casting lines and the chambers were smoothed.

Since I removed them in November 2008, they have had the following work done to them.

1. Full disassembly and the ports were cleaned by hand (no large power tools or chemical tanking).
2. The valves have been ultrasonically cleaned to new condition.
3. Once all parts received their initial cleaning, the guides were hand washed, lubed and all valves were lapped using fine lapping compound.
4. Once lapped, the heads were checked for flatness and cleaned a final time.
5. The valves were ultrasonically cleaned a 2nd time to prior to assembly.
6. The heads were re-assembled measuring installed height of each valve spring (installed heights are below)

These heads should be ready to install straight out of the box when you receive them.

I am also including a set of Denso Iridium IK-20 gasket spark plugs. If you check the price on these they are $11.99 apiece new.

Price: $995 plus shipping if paying by postal money order for the heads including the plugs. Paypal add 3%.

Here is a listing of parts that comprise these heads:

62 cc Combustion Chamber

Valves – The valves are REV part no. CL-1170 (intake) and CL-1168 (exhaust).

“REV CL Series valves are one piece forged, swirl polished and have hard chromed stems. A special solution style heat treat process is used for this line of valves to maintain a consistent grain flow in the material for unsurpassed ductility, longevity and reliability.”

Valve Springs – PSI1511 beehive valve springs

Valve spring locks – Machined/hardened

Retainers – Titanium manufactured by Trick Titanium (they make the retainers for Comp as well)

Shims - Comp Cams

Valve Seals – U.S. Seal (same manufacturer as GM OEM)

Valve Spring Installed Heights

Honestly, I don't think they would be a good match for an LS2 without some work. With some work they would be a killer head but that of course is more money. The valve springs aren't suitable for that lift either.
