Default Century Transmission Extreme 200-4R conversion setup FS

Century Transmission Extreme 200-4R conversion for sale. The "package" includes the following:

Century Transmission Extreme 200-4R
- 800+ hp handling capacity with overdrive
- Hydraulic transbrake (select 1st gear to activate, shift to 2nd to release)
- Electric pickup added to the tailhousing for "plug and play" with the f-body speedo
- manual or automatic converter lockup selection
Century Transmission 3,500 rpm stall with lockup
Shaner S2.5 throttle body modified for T.V. cable attachment
Custom steel driveshaft with 1350 yokes

This is easily the strongest overdrive automatic transmission available on the market. There is no worry about hurting the transmission while spraying (or boosting) through shifts with the converter unlocked. She'll take whatever you throw at her. GN's are running in the 9's with this tranny without even breaking a sweat.

The transmission was just freshened by Century Transmission last week and is in NEW condition with zero run time. Retail on the tranny and converter is just over $5,000 with the associated equipment bringing the retail value up over $5,500.

I'm asking $3,750 obo. Add a shifter and you're ready to fly AND cruise in overdrive.

That is an AWESOME trans...try doing a search on prices though to see what they have sold for in the past and it will help you sell faster.

Thanks man. I did check around and this is an appropriate price deck even without the recent freshen. Some people get confused when they see these trannies and try to compare them to some local shop built 200-4R which are WORLDS below these units. Mike Kurtz does things that no one else apparently can do. There are only a handful of people in the country that have f-bodies strong enough to overpower this transmission.

Overdrive AND a transbrake... too damn cool.

I won't give it away, but I'm making a great offer to someone. Worst case scenario... I'll keep the thing and find a project car to stuff it in.

If you're running a 6 spd then no. Unless there is something that I'm not thinking about and my installer didn't tell me about.

I know it is. For install help you can contact Mike Kurtz (owner of Century Transmission in Houston) or even Sean Freese at Fastech (board sponsor) who installed it for me. The transbrake is VERY simple. You just put the shifter in first gear and the brake is activated. You move the shifter to 2nd to release the brake. The tranny launches in 1st and makes the 1/2 shift for you and then you can either let it shift or shift it yourself.

This tranny is freaking AWESOME! No BS!!

Well I'm just guessing, but I bet freight will be a couple hundred to CT, but I'll check it out. I'll shoot you a PM on the pricing.
