Default Stage 3 GTP LQ9 2.10/1.60 heads for 4.00+ bore or FI

Never used Stage 3 GTP heads. Fully ported/polished.
cc = 71.7

the springs are dual comp cams pacaloy with a 240 seat pressure. Can be swapped out for a set of cc 918's.

These heads are built for FI or BIG CUBES.

>>The heads were flowed by LPE on a 3.90 bore They should be flowed on a 4.125 bore to get better results (unshroud the valves) b/c of the HUGE 2.10 intake<<<
So I basically had them flowed on the wrong bore. LPE said these heads will flow at least 10+ cfm on the bigger bore that these heads are desinged for.

here is what Tony from AFR said regarding this type of head and the 3.90 bore:
"Tony

PS....Most heads in this group have 2.080 valves and there are a few 2.100 heads in there as well. Flowing these type's of cylinder heads on a small bore will provide less than stellar results and most of the manufacturers and suppliers will tell you staight up that they are more aimed at a 4" bore and larger application. Some of these heads get KILLED on a 3.900 bore, but keep in mind they were never meant to be placed on one."
post#37 https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...3&page=2&pp=20

Any numbers for the exhaust side, that is important in s/c application.

Thanks

These are big CC heads. If you put them on a stock engine they would be around 9-1 CR. So if you bought these for your engine you would need to get higher compression pistons if you arent using FI. I wish i had the money ot get these. GL

These are made for a 4.00-4.125 bore engine. That is exactly what these heads are desinged for. This can be confirmed by Ed Potter at LPE.
I am mainly on teh Corvetteforum. If you want to know more PM me.

John
somewhat correct. I would NOT put these on a 3.90 bore.
