Default Gauging intrest: TSP heads, 231/237 cam, ARP studs, Rollmaster & more

I've started disassembling my car for the season to upgrade to a LS2 402 stroker, so I'm putting up for sale anything I'm not going to use on it. Here's a few items. I'll have them out of the car in the next week, 10 days at the maximum.

TSP Race style LS6 heads.
These started as Patriot stage II heads that TSP sent out to (I believe) Sunset Racecraft for porting and larger valves. They come with Patriot gold springs, 238cc intake runners, 59cc combustion chambers, and 2.055/1.60 valves if I remember right. They have ~2700 miles on them now. These heads are good enough that if I can't sell them, they'll go on the 402. I paid $2100 for them new. I'm asking $1300 shipped for them. I'd prefer a money order on this unless someone wants to cough up the 3% for paypal.

TSP 231/237 .598"/.595" 112+2LSA cam. **Sold to 2002camaroZ28**
There's been thread after thread about this cam's performance. It performs very well, and the lobes are not extreme extreme, so it's not too rough on the drivetrain. I'm gonna ask $200 shipped for this.

Rollmaster double timing chain. **SOLD to Lithium**
Pretty self explanitory. Asking $85 + shipping.

LS1 block.
I'm planning on keeping the oilpan, oil pump, windage tray, dampener and sensors. I have to inspect the cylinder walls before I accept anything for this block because i might have cracked a ringland on a piston and want to look for damage. If it's ok, I'll sell the whole thing for $500 + shipping, covers and all. A quick touch up hone, forged piston and rods, and this would make a real nice option for a FI setup

1998 A4 flexplate.
From what I've heard, they're a little stronger than the 99+ flexplates. I need a sfi flexplate, so I'll do $50 + shipping.

SLP 85mm MAF.
The 85mm MAF is de-resistor'd. I will copy for you the calibrated MAF tables I came up with calibrating from HP Tuners. I had to trim the rear plastic about 1/2" to make the MAF fit with my current HPE Power ring on my nitrous kit, but functionality is 100% intact. There is still lots of room to attach the bellows. I'd like $60 shipped for this, which seems like a great price compared to $150.

Like I said, I'll have the engine out within 10 days so give me a few days to get pics up.

Thanks

Sorry 00TAProject, Lithium scooped that up pretty fast, it's already sold.

Thanks Lithium

WS6nJAX, I installed the cam in the spring last year. It has ~2700 miles on it.

Hey mcmillion, how's it goin'? Did you ever get your qa1's?
Hey, I have one person planning on taking the studs already, and one person in line for the heads. If it falls thru, I'll let ya know.

Well, I got the motor out today. Looks like #7 piston has seen better days. Sleeve is still intact, but will need the typical touch up hone prior to new pistons.
Heads look great, I'll be cleaning them up next week and will get some fresh pics.
The head studs and timing chain will ship tomorrow, thanks everyone

Got any buyers on the cam? How did that work out with your stall? I'm asking because I have a 3800 as well.

With this cam, I made peak power at 6500 rpms. The 3.73 gears and the 3800 stall gave me a shift extension of 5000 rpms. I wound up crossing the traps at 6050 rpms in 3rd gear on motor, so I left a little on the table there. I like the feel of the torque converter, but I should have found a cam with a little lower peak rpm, or a higher stall. I still could have used more extension or more gear. But I'm not complaining. High 11's on motor in a full weight car isn't too bad from this setup

Well, since the head studs sold, I'll have to find another way of sweetening the deal on these heads. I'm changing the price on them to $1300 shipped. That'll knock an extra ~$140 off them. These are really good heads everyone. If I can't sell them by December 1st, I'll have to order my shortblock with -14cc pistons to hit 11:1 compression, and will prevent me from swapping to 72cc AFR's at a later time. So if you're interested, drop me a line fairly soon

That's cool, just let me know when you decide either way.
I'd really appreciate it

What details would you like other than what's in the top thread? I'm currently awaiting word from 69cam to see if he wants it, and there's 1 more person in line, but I'll keep you in the loop.

Well im interested,...I asked you a couple of days ago to PM me with some details but im not too sure you did, but still interested, I suspect the games in basically identical shape as to when you bought it, no scars on the lobes or anything of that sort?
