Default F/S T56 Built 2.97 unit

This is a 04-05 GTO MN12 2.97 first gear unit. (direct replacement into 98-02 F-Body) This unit is as nice as they get,the gears actually look like they have been chrome plated.

Cryo-Treated internals by 300 Below
Micro-polished by Performance Metal
Compressed Carbon Blocking rings (triple coned assemblys like used on the C5's)
De-burred and hand fitted slider/hub assemblys
G-Force Billet Keys 3-4 and 5-6
Iron 3-4 fork
Blueprinted and shimmed to RPM race specs
New seals and fork pads
Includes all sensors (No bellhousing)
$2500 outright

I would even consider a trade in on a F-Body unit.

how about a properly shifting t56 unit out of an f-body? a 2.97 first gear would be REALLY nice

Just out of curiosity? Is this rodney from indiana who built my t-56 out of Atlanta, GA 2 years ago?

Just a heads up that this dood is one of the greatest guys I've dealt with in a long time. I couldn't break his last transmission no matter how hard I tried, and it's still going today, 2 owners later

For someone looking for a 2.97 first gear unit this will make you a nice piece. Maybe a little more $ than the others but definately a top of the line unit.
