Default Strange 9" Aluminum Center Section - LOADED and CHEAP!

I had this center section built for me by strange less than 5 months ago. I am not running any high horsepower anytime soon and am trying to cut back on some expenses so I have gone with a less equipped center section. The center section consists of the following:
  • Strange Aluminum Case
  • Forged Aluminum Daytona Pinion Support
  • Lightened and Microfinished Richmond 4.22 Gear Set (can swap for Motive 3.89)
  • CNC Lightened 31 Spline Detroit Locker
  • Billet 1330 Yoke

The Center has no track runs at all on it and has only been used for about 3000 miles. I will have the center rebuilt by a well respected drivetrain shop before I send it out with new seals and bearings just so there are no issues. At that time I can have them swap in a set of Motive Lightened and Micro Finished 3.89 Gears that I had purchased if you would like.

PRICING:

This center cost me about $1800 to my door with options, taxes and shipping.

The price break down is as follows:
  • PRF170 - Strange 9" Lightweight aluminum center section - fully assembled with nodular Iron Posi-unit, Daytona Iron Support, 3.50 - 6.50 standard gear set and S-Series Yoke - $1329.90
  • OPRF16 - Upgrade - Strange forged aluminum support - $37.52
  • OPRF09 - Upgrade - Tractech 31 Spline Detroit Locker - $90.00
  • D3596 - Lighten Strange Ring Gear - $75.00
  • Debur and Microfinish Gears - $100
  • CNC Lighten Locker - $75
$1707.42 WITHOUT Shipping and Tax

I would like to get $1200 + shipping for the Center, we can work out something if you feel that is two high so please feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions.

So there it is you get a Lightweight Center Section with virtually every option that is possible with a fresh set up and choice of gears for $1200. Add this bad boy to a Billingsley Housing and you have one of the lightest 9" Rear Ends possible.

Some interest but a lot of people are not to interested in the gear ratios. I talked to the shop owner and he will give me a good deal on a gear set if you wanted a different ratio, let me know what you want. He can also get me a 1350 yoke for a good price so that can be arranged if that is what you are looking for. Price I am asking even with the new upgrades is still $1200. Please let me know or I will have to ebay this bad boy.

If it had a spool I might have been interested (lower price too). I already run a 31 spline locker.

What price are you thinking John? I am sure I can have the guy put a spool in it while he is doing the rest of the fun stuff, hopefully I can just ebay the other goodies and make up the difference.
