Default Mti/icon 422

Well, the time has come for me too decide on weather or not to sell my pride and joy and the "heart" of my SS.

I'm gauging any interest in my soon to be freshly re-bulit MTI/ICON 422 ci LS1 with MTI Stage III 5.3 heads...Anyone that knows my car knows just how well this combination has worked in my SS since MTI first built this motor. I will go into much futher detail on all the "goodies" this motor has to offer someone in the next 7-10 days if I decide to go this route.

The price for this complete motor will be more than fair!! You wouldn't be able to duplicate the deal I will offer for under $10,000.00+

I have riden in this car, and it is a complete beast.

I have watched it spot a H/C 346 a bunch of lengths (I think it was 10) and the move on street tires and beat it...

I have been behind this car on the street and watched it when it was on spray pull Gerald's (RSI) Viper, and Preshant, along with TAG's single Turbo Supra.

This thing is a monster, and the price will makes it a super deal....

I can't wait to see whats next....

Great deal on a bad *** motor....

Why couldn't this be a year and a half earlier. A 422 would have been much better than my little forged 346.

If you're going to keep the specs on the motor confidential, maybe you should consider taking the link out of your profile; seeing as it has every mod your car has.

Nice motor, good luck with the sale. TTT.

FWIW- The link provides info on the motor back then, not the current contents of the motor.

It's a solid screamer.

James, I couldn't have said that better myself! Fellow LS1Techer's, this engine is built with the best parts available. I have put together quite a few big inch LS1's over the years and there has always been something about this particular engine that always set it apart from the rest. The Torque is just simply astonishing. You know that deep, powerful, groan of torque you get when you are spraying lets say a 200 shot on a 346 through the top of first gear and it's a task just to get the tires to stick? Well this thing seems to have that feeling IN ALL GEARS! Just always seemes to be "ready to go". I sure hope it go's to someone that will appreciate the time and R&D that went into it.

Great combo at an unbeatable price.

James your correct...the article/photo shoot from GMHighTech was 3 years ago. As everyone that knows me knows I just can't leave well enough alone. The combination has undergone several changes since that article came out. So the link in my sig is correct...but for 2003.

Mike thanks for your input on this...you of all people know this thing inside and out! You've been there since it's inception back in your "younger" days... ...You know all too well how this motor package has stood up to many, many cars over the years...people I really should not have been able to out run or run with...Sh** the more I think about it the less I want to let this thing go! Anyway thanks for all your help in making this one bad *** motor...
