Will this install right on a stock unit for a 98?

Yes... if you remove the drivers side rear speaker panel (IT JUST SNAPS IN AND OUT) you'll find the wiring harness for the CD changer all rolled up from the factory, just unroll the harness plug it into the changer, mount the changer to the floor pan in the corner and you are all set. Should take no more than 30 minutes to do, assuming you have the monsoon radio.
