Default Low Mileage Borla-Mouth

I found a great deal on a GMMG, so I'm selling my borla mouth. The LM has about 8K on it and the Borla muffler, not even 4K.

The only thing i want you to know is there is a little bit of weld attached to the muffler, b/c i had it welded to the y-pipe. But, i had it cut after the muffler (into the y-pipe), so all of the muffler is there. Just needs a little grind, no big deal.

I'd like local pickup if possible, just b/c shipping is a PITA, but if you want it and wanna go for shipping, it's all yours!

$300 for the set-up (shipping not included)

So is that a borla resonator? It doesn't look like the slp one. I'm confused as to why you would buy a loudmouth system and replace the resonator? I've heard of alot of people doing it, maybe you can fill me in?

i have the same exhaust and i like it.if you put headers with no cats, the SLP resonator resonates too loud at high speeds. the drone is annoying. the whole car vibrates. the Borla XR1 gets rid of all that.

So you replace the slp resonator with the borla one? What's the point in buying the LM system then? thanks.

it's a great exhaust if you don't have headers. some of us learn after we get headers that it's annoying.

Originally my LM was one of the first mods I did to my car. It sounded awesome with the stock motor. But when you add LTs and a cam, the sound of the LM was just TOOOOOOO much for me. So instead of a resonator making the car even louder, people remove that and replace it with a 'race muffler', most commonly the Borla XR-1 or Dynomax (hence dynomouth or borlamouth) which tones down the rasp and drone of the original exhaust without spending $$$ for a whole new system when the LM is stainless steel and will last for a while.

I have the SLP resonator too i'll throw in if whomever wants it too. Not like it's going back on the car lol

Hope that clears up the confusion a little

OOH, I thought people were literally gong out and buying loudmouth and the borla resonator at the same time. That's why I was so confused. I couldn't figure why anyone would spend 350$ on a system, then go bust out another 100$ on a new resonator. Thanks for clearing it up!!!!!
