I have my FlashScan Personal SCAN & TUNE USB Cable for sale. This cable has 4 VINs, but one has been used, leaving it with 3 remaining usable VINs for tuning. Everything in Like New condition.

From EFILive the cable (2 VINs) with an upgrade to a 3rd VIN runs $699 + $99. They charge $41.63 to ship it to the Bay Area, for a total of $839.63.

I'm looking to get $600 shipped.

What year vehicles will this work for???

The current software version I just downloaded (v7.3) says 1998 and newer LS1/LS6 vehicles, and lists two different Duramax models. The 1998 models do not lock a VIN space on the cable, so you can tune an unlimited amount of 1998 cars. EFILive also supplies free upgrades via their website, and they have tutorials to help getting started tuning.

i went and checked out the efilive website and they said something about a black box or one that independantly logs data. Call me an amateur. It was my understanding that you have to have this box, do you have it?

Yes, that is the Flashscan cable/device. it has the USB port that the USB cable connects to on one side, and a serial port on the other side that the OBDII connector cable plugs into.

It will allow you to log data w/o having a notebook computer in the car.

This package comes with everything you get from EFILive if you get a new unit, only difference is, this cable has 4 VINs configured, 1 of which has been used, so 3 other 1999 or newer cars can be tuned and unlimited 1998's.

I don't need the money, I just sold my 04 Corvette that was paid for, so just received a bunch of cash with nothing to spend it on. I am selling this because I don't think I'll use it on my Silverado Z71. Offers for 1/2 off retail or more won't be accepted, I'll keep it at that rate to fine tune the truck, or just use it as a scan tool. Maybe I'll get an H2 or a Caddy in the near future and can use it.... But right now I'm offering it up in like new condition with 3 unlocked VINs at a savings for anyone interested.

It's $600 shipped. That's a $240 savings for a like new unit.

This is a great price, if you're cheap, broke, or just don't want to pay a fair price don't message me. I'm tired of "Will you take $300?" and other rediculous messages.

What do you mean??? You can tune as many 98 as you want with this. 98 are FREE with EFILive. They don't use a license.
