could the LS6 springs be used with this stick or would the comp 918's be a better bet? Looking at something that would work in a 5.3 OR a 6.0. Primarily a track car but will see street fun as well and a 150 hit. Carbed in a 3rd gen F-body. Thanks

The LS6's would be fine unless you're turning crazy RPM's...I think they are good to .57" lift. How high are you spinning it?

don't "want" to twist it over 6500. Trying to keep the bottom alive as long as possible. The 5.3 I have is an 04, the 6.0 is an 03 so rod bolts and oil pumps may not be an issue. Thanks.....

let me do a bit more studying on the cam profile. I guess if it worked well on the blown motor it would do fairly well sprayed too. I was primarily concerned about it being at 115. I'm really looking to go shorter than that. Have a good converter and gear so idle isn't an issue(OK, maybe a "little" on the street) I would like to power tour the car one year though so I have to keep it sorta clean!! lol Thanks again...... Bill

I ran that cam in my GTO. It had gobs of low end torque and a decent mid range
