Default Complete T56 setup

I have a complete T56 6 speed setup for a G-Body car. The tranny has 62K miles on it and shift perfect. It comes with a B&M Ripper shifter, Spec clutch & pressure plate, plus an extra new stock clutch disc. The spec clutch disc had some wear on it. The Spec clutch still holds good but I bought a new disc because of the wear on it. I will also include a brand new, never used clutch master cylinder. The clutch and brake pedals also go with the setup. You get everything you need to install it in your car except the crossmember. Mine is custom built and probably would not work in your car. The tranny is made for an LS1, not an LT1. $1450 plus shipping, and that is bottom dollar.
I will also trade this for a built 200-4R setup.

It was in my SS until two weeks ago. What engine do you have?

Pics. Part of the hydraulic stuff, such as the line and the pedals are still in the car.

How soon would you need the 200-4r? I have a bowtie overdrives one in my buick (good to 500 hp they say). It has very few miles on it (like less than 1k) as the project has kinda stalled.

I have a couple more months before I get the car back together. Is your tranny a BOP or chevy pattern, and what kind of convertor? I am in central Arkansas.

Its on a BOP, but to be honest I cannot say 4 sure if it was a dual pattern (I think it was). The converter is a low stall (higher than stock but not much). It is a lock up. This tranny is unabused...its behind the stock buick 1973 350.

Can you sheck to see if it is a universal pattern? It seems that most of them were. Even the ones in the Monte Carlo SS were universal. If it is, we can probably work something out. I want to go to the track some next summer, but am not ready to build a new rear just yet. With a 6 speed the stock rear wouldn't last long.

I will check. I'm pretty sure its a dual. Does your monte have an LSX? Will the 200-4r bolt 2 it? I'm hoping we can work it out...I'm looking to go manual, and the 200 I have sounds perfect 4 u. I bought it planning to go built 455, but I'm thinking LSX T56 now. My father in law visits family in Arkansas regularly...this could work out great!

I have an LS1 in my car. I am planning on making a few passes at the track next summer and am not quite ready to trash the rear end, yet. I know it wouldn't last long with the 6 speed.

I have an 84 El Camino and i would like all that stuff. Like yesterday. What do i have to get to make it work with a Gen 1 smallblock. Different clutch kit? Also, what is that T56 out of, F-body? What ratios? Please reply soon. Seriously considering!

The tranny is out of an f-body. You can get an adapter bellhousing from Weir Hotrod Parts. I discovered today that the new clutch disc I have won't work with the pressure plate and flywheel, so the Spec disc will be the only one going with the setup. If you call Weir, they can tell you what you need for a clutch. If you don't want this clutch and flywheel, I will knock a little off the price.

I'll take it, tomorrow i will find out how much i have in the bank, i have a 383 Gen 1 smallblock, so i won't be able to use flywheel either. How much and what am i looking at for shipping, i live in Opelousas, Louisiana?
