99 camaro red front clip within the next month or so..
Guaging interest here as I am going LT1 style. I am selling the whole front assembly which includes the hood, bumper, fenders and all that shiznit that goes with a LS1 nose. The hood, bumper and at least the pass fender was repainted, I do belive. If anyone is interested in the WHOLE clip, let me know. Those that are interested in parts let me know also, but, honestly it will be about a month or so before i start plucking the parts off. I have to find some red replacement parts first. I will also trade a red front clip from a 94-97 stright up also, but, paint has to be decent, or, we could do trade and some cash on my side, depending. If you have a clip to trade, PM me and we will talk. If your interested in some parts, drop me a note here and when I am ready, I will PM you all. Hell, if I get ALL the parts sold, I would strip her now. Here is a pic with the hood up. Car looks alot better in person, but, the paint is still the same shade, lol.

This is interesting, as I am hoping to do a swap from an LT1 Camaro to an LS1 style nose in the future. What ballpark is the price in? PM me with it if you'd prefer.
Also, how many parts have to be changed to make the swap, besides the obvious exterior parts such as bumpers, lights etc.

Not exactly sure yet on both questions as I am just starting to get into this phase of the project, but, will have some answers with time and soon. I know, I guess I should have a price set, but, I do not want to get too far ahead of myself until I obtain some red fenders and go from there. I want to try to keep the car running while I do this too. So many variables, but, I will keep all informed.

never really thought of a price outright, was kind of hoping to find all my parts in RED (cheap if possible of course, lol) so I could just price out what I had into the swap and sell it for that as I am not really trying to make any money, just do a swap and come out even would be nice.
As far as I know, all you need is the hood, fenders, bumper and everything behind the bumper like lights (in my case it would be the light bar) bumper cushion, which is riveted to a metal cross bar and the little braketry. Of course you will need to sit and think how you will rewire the headlights, get some connectors and plugs from the dealer and do a little bit of enjuneering, but, I think thats about it. Hell, since your doing all that, might as well as run the hot off the batterys for the headlights and run it through a relay, if they already dont do that.
