Patriot LS6 style Stage II heads
These are brand new. They are LS6 style heads. I bought these as part of a package, however they won't work with the cam that came with them. My cam is a Lunati 232/232 dur .578/.578 lift 112+0 LSA. The driver's side head was bolted on and checked for clearance, that's all. We took it off and put it back in the box. If you have any questions call me at (717) 377-6983. Here's the info. exactly as stated from the seller I bought these off of:
LS1 / LS6 Ported Heads
This is a set of LS6 Style heads CNC Ported by Patriot Performance. Stage II 59cc Chambers, 2.02 int 1.57ex Stainless valves with under cut heads, 225cc int 83cc ex Runners, Comp Cams Dual .650 lift springs with titanium retainers, magnesium bronze intake guides, phosphorus bronze exhaust guides 5 angle machined hardened seats. For center bolt valve covers.
$1100 shipped
Thanks,
Creston

Absolutely nothing is wrong with them. They just wouldn't work with my cam because the exhaust valve didn't have enough clearance. They are new. I'll check on the casting #. I'm not sure what it is.

I couldn't find the casting #'s on the heads. They weren't on top in the corner as usual, and no where else to be found. Near there, were 6 engraved(dimpled) digits that were difficult to tell what numbers they were. Underneath it has 3 stampings, they say GM, 6.0, and 02. I also found a marking that says S X on the back side toward the rear of the head.

I bought these heads as part of a package from someone else on ebay. I was told they would work with the cam on a stock bottom end LS1. However, they didn't and I'm stuck with them for now. This set is $1300 from Patriot. The only difference between mine and Patriot's is the warranty. Make an offer if you're interested.

Patriot grinds the casting numbers off their heads because they were 035 castings with 72cc chambers that came on 6.0 liter truck engines. They weld up the chambers and then machine them to their specs. Patriot buys them from GM so they are absolutely brand new heads not rebuilds. These are good heads and his asking price is very good for brand new heads!

bump for you,...
but why would they not work? I have the same heads (w/59cc chambers) with a smaller cam (224) but with a higer lift (.581), and I have no issues. I'm looking at a Torquer v2 and was told that even that cam would fit right in...
you could always flycut the pistons .100" of an inch for clearance and keep the heads...

I used another set because it was quicker than tearing it apart to flycut the pistons. I know of a lot of other people on here that are using the same heads with a larger cam. I need someone to buy these though so that I can put the money towards a truck.
