I've had the car for 4 months. 2 months in my posession and 2 months at the shop. I've come to the realization that I am going to be paying more money in modifications than I should be because ... well ... I can't control myself!!

TSP PRC 5.3 2.5R heads 308 cfm - Milled to 62cc's 2.04 ferrea / 1.575 manley valves. Heads were $1500 new with the upgrades not to mention the mill work. Right now, there are 0 miles on since the freshening and milling. - $1100

CamMotion futral cam 230/234 595/585 114 +2 - $300

TR224 563/563 112 cam - $275

Texas GIANT Cam - 622/614 248/254 - $325

Yank Pro Extreme 4000 Stall - built to handle nitrous/boost so the nitrous won't blow through but will work fine n/a - $525

What kind of condition are the headers in, and is that 0 miles on the heads? I'm very interested and live in texas, Austin that is.

Also, what year are the headers built for?

redz_02 - the headers are fine and the heads do not have 0 miles but they do not need to be gone through they are 100% ready to go and super clean! They have only a few hundred miles on them if i remember correctly.

where in tx are you? I am in dfw, would like to see the heads. What lift do the springs support? If those headers will fit my car might also get them (have to compare to my shorties, ls1 is in a mustang)

 

I am in NW Houston - they are the PRC double springs so you should be fine pretty much whatever cam you go with from what I understand
