FS: 1 OEM 98-02 SS Hood; 1 Aftermarket 98-02 SS Hood (Phila, PA Area)
For sale is an OEM SS Hood and an aftermarket SS Hood.
The OEM hood is red in color. I believe it came off a wrecked car. It has minor stress cracks underneath, and a gash on the top where the coolant overflow bottle is located. I fit this hood onto my 99 Z/28 with my existing hood hardware (latch, struts, hinges) and it fit near perfect. This hood will need some reconditioning. I would like to get 200 dollars for it.
The aftermarket SS Hood is also red in color. I have not test fitted this onto my Camaro, so I do not know if it will fit (although its dimensions are identical to the OEM hood. There does not appear to be any damage to this hood, but I will say that it weighs less than half of the OEM hood and is made of a different material. I would like to let this one go for 100 dollars.
I prefer not to ship these hoods as it will be extremely expensive and time consuming. I live 10 miles west of Philadelphia, so if you are in the area and are interested in some low priced SS hoods, post a reply on this thread or send me a PM and we'll see what we can do!

Whew!! I Finally got them to be of a decent size to upload. This post includes all pictures of the OEM Hood. The first pic is the front of the hood. The second pic shows the underside of the hood. The third pic shows the gash in the fiberglass top layer of the hood (near the pass headlight), the fourth and fifth are of the minor stress cracks found on the underside of the hood where folding point is. The sixth picture is the hood on my 99' Z28 for test fitment purposes. I am getting rid of this hood because I didn't feel like dealing with finding anybody to paint this thing and repair it. I would also like to add that this hood is very sturdy.

These are the pictures for the aftermarket hood. I do not have any fitment pictures for this hood on my car because I have not tested it out, and I do not want to mess with my car and risk damaging the paint to do so. So here they are:
Pic 1: Overall top view of hood
Pic 2: View of inner part of scoop (showing the material it is made of)
Pic 3: The lip where the hood meets the front clip on the underside
Pic 4: The stress crack on the one side of the hood underneath where the folding point is.
I will note that this hood will need reconditioning, as there are scuffs on the top of it. I do not know if it fits. I am just trying to provide accurate information here so that everybody is treated fairly. Thank you.

I'm holding the OEM hood for xxferrarixx, but it appears the Aftermarket SS Hood buyer backed out due to high shipping costs. If anybody wants the Aftermarket for $100, PM me or call 484-557-3329 and you can come pick it up, or we can arrange for some type of shipping.
