LS1 supercharger for sale
What I have for sale is a Powerdyne supercharger that I ran on my 2000 SS for about 6 months. The supercharger is in great working order and created decent gains on my cam and exhaust only car. At 6lbs of boost and 14* of timing and a small shot of methanol I put down 470 horsepower. I beleive we could have easily gotten it to 500 with more tuning. It carried a constant 6lbs all the way up to the 6200 rpm I spun it to with a big cam. With this kit I will also be including my dual nozzle be cooling methanol kit. If you look at the intake elbow you can see the dual nozzles and soloniod that is triggered by a hobbs switch. This is a great kit for somebody that wants to bolt on easy horsepower in about 6-8 hrs. No tapping the oil pan for oil and it amazing stealthy. It has a cold air intake kit for it which makes it whistle but its still quit in comparison to some. I liked it because nobody knew I was boosting and it came as a surprise to them when I pulled away. These superchargers get a bumb rap because they are limited to a degree, 6 lbs is about all you will get out of it and 9 is really pushing it. If you looking for something to gain decent horsepower then this is for you but if you looking to break dyno records and run 9 sec quarters than well....its not the right setup...but I was not complaining trapping 120mph with it. Price is 1500 obo + shipping. If you have any questions please let me know, James.
*mass air flow sensor not included but the new upper radiator hose will be
Heres a picture of the setup without the methanol pump but is included
installed on the car, you will have to get pusher fans

That's a powerdyne? What's the kit number. It looks like a vortech. Just curious, that's all. No matter what mfg it is, thats a sweet deal for $1500! I wish I had that $$ laying around. Here's a bump!

Nope not sold yet and thanks for the bump. It is a powerdyne kit but I would have to look up the numbers. Its the only 6lb kit powerdyne makes for the Ls1. Its been a great blower and whomever it goes to will be happy with it.

pusher fans replace the stock rediator ad are mounted to the front side of the radiator and instead of pulling air like your original fans do you will be pushing air through. The bottom picture if you lool all the was at the bottom you can see the fans .
These kits do not come with intercoolers thats why I am selling it with the meth kit, it acts as an intercooler by spraying a water/methanol mix into the air charge cooling it down .....very effective I might add.
