Default 2002 Vette LS1 engine complete w/14K miles

(ad corrected to show engine is an LS1 with an LS6 block)

Hello all...John from JSA Automotive. Haven't posted on here for a while, but I've got stuff left over from the shop that I need to start liquidating.

I have an old 02' Vette motor that I pulled from a totaled Vette back in 04. It was smashed in the rear, so nothing happened to the engine. The motors complete from intake to oil pan, water pump to stick shift flywheel. I robbed the injectors off of it from when we were doing a 5.7 blower deal on an 04' Tahoe & put the Tahoe injectors onto the Vette motor...so it needs the correct injectors (32 vs 36lb or something like that). But other than that...it's totally complete.

I guess the 02' Vettes came from the factory with an LS6 block and LS6 intake but NOT with the LS6 cyl head. So once again....I mistakenly listed this as an LS6 engine. Just so that were totally clear on this.

I was looking to get 2K for the motor less shipping or best offer. I'll guarantee the motor to be exactly what I say it is. A low miles (around 14,000 miles) LS1 engine that is totally stock that has never had nitrous or a blower, turbo, etc installed on it. Was driven every once in a while by the owner as mostly a putt around car and was never modified or taken apart.

You can e-mail me at JSAautomotive1@aol.com for info or if you need any pictures of it.

Happy New Year!!

John

That is the correct casting # 0n the block for a LS6 block, but the heads are 241 castings. That means its a LS1 from a 2002 Vette, not a true LS6 engine from a Z06 Vette. The Z06 engines have the 243 casting heads. Just a heads up so people dont get confused on what you are selling.

So then its not a stock z06 engine, its an ls6 block with ls1 heads?

I remember buying an LSx performance book back when I acquired this engine, and I remember them talking about the block. I've closed the shop since then and would have to dig up the book I bought. But the identifier it showed made me look for something on the block, and the block did, so I assumed it was an LS6 engine. If what you are saying is correct, then I stand corrected. Didn't mean to pull the wool over anyones eyes in regards to it being an LS1 or LS6. I just remembered doing the research on it when I pulled it and it showed to be an LS6 via the block. I never knew anything about the heads nor casting numbers.

do you guarantee that the engine is in fact in perfect working condition if injectors are put in?
