Default Black NON-ram air hood for 98-02 bird

I'm selling my old hood because I have a ram air hood installed on my T/A now. There are several rock chips, but they are hardly noticeable. There are no other defects. I'm asking $300 or BO. Here are some pix of it on my car, i can take better ones of the hood itself if you like. Also, it doesn't come with the hood struts but I will include the insulation that's attached to the underside of it.

This guy at a body shop near my house says someone came in a couple months ago with a wrecked T/A. The new (non ram air) hood he had to buy was $700 w/o paint. If u try to buy one from a junk yard i'm sure it wont be that cheap. I'm in no rush to sell this and this guy at the body shop could buy it from me if he ever needs it. I can't let it go for $50.

Hoods are hard to sell because they are hard and expensive to ship. I know because I have a 98-2002 VFN WS6 4inch Ram Air Bolt on hood for sale and it is hard to find local people. I'm going to replace the hood with something more stock looking. I also think you can get more then $50 but probably not more then $100. New ram air hoods are $300 on ebay and here is a stock one like yours for $50 on there right now.

Good luck.

Your just selling it in the wrong market.. LS1tech folks place a high price on some items and a lower price on others. If you sell that on craigslist/ebay, you'll prob do better.

Its deff worth more than 50$ to some guy who is looking to fix his car after an accident. Garunteed the insurance adjuster doesnt put 50$ when they mark down the value of replacing any Trans Am hood.

yeah if your trying to sell a base hood good luck with getting 100 bucks and free shipping on it. it's not an upgrade because even the low model firebirds have it so it's not improoving looks. only way someone needs it is if they got in an accident and can't find one for near free.
