This motor put down 405 horsepower and 374 torque.

has a real performance motorsports stg 2 cam .232/.236 .572/.578 112lsa

heads, cams, etc. included.

$900 OBO ----SOLD----

call if interested

Patrick

So by 'tore down' does that mean it is currently not assembled?

Also, fill out your profile / user cp info when you have a chance, thanks!

Just a guess but the intake might not be available...

The Facts:
1. Nitrous was NOT armed.
2. Nitrous bottle was CLOSED.
3. I was in 5th gear at about 2800 RPM
4. When I increased my speed to pass another vehicle, the engine backfired VERY loud.
5. WOT was never reached.
6. The intake is now blown apart on every runner.
7. The upper and lower lid are also destroyed.
8. I have been told this could be caused by a lean condition.
9. Any other internal damages have yet to be discovered.

I'm interested in seeing what other people might think caused this....

Correct, the engine is not currently assembled. Would be willing to have it assembled before shipping for a few hundred extra, say maybe total of ??? for the longblock. I've decided that if you want it rebuilt, let me know and I'll basically only charge the cost of rebuild + $900, or whatever we agree on

And no, the intake is not available.

But the intake was the only thing damaged by the backfire.

No manifolds or covers are included, no injectors, fuel rails, etc.

yup!

Still getting very compelling offers too.... just seems that either some take a while to respond, or are scared away by shipping.

who knows.

still OBO

probably around 250-300, but I don't have the final weight after crating it, so it's not a definite answer
