It's decent, but not ideal NA due to the 115LSA.

Intake is either 2.02 or 2.055. I bought them new from TRT Turbo in May 2007 as "Stage 2.5" heads, so they should be 2.055", but not 100% sure w/out measuring the valve itself. Patriot now lists 2.02 and 2.055 valved heads as "Stage 2" ...and TRT is out of business so I can't call and ask them.

Exhaust valve is 1.57.

Do you know if you can upgrade the valves to the 2.08 and 1.6 or do you have to do some machine work? The reason i ask is because i bought some stock heads a few days ago with dual springs and the 2.08/1.6 valves in them and would buy yours if i can sell them or better yet switch to the bigger valves and sell the stock heads with your valves. I dont know if on a supercharged car if you even need the bigger valves or not.

thanks,
B

The valve seats would have to be machined fo 2.08/1.6 valves. For FI, my $0.02 is that the added size would not make a large difference, as the supercharger is cramming the air in the cylinder. The LQ9 heads shine in their 72cc chamber (ie lowering compression to 9:0 to 1 vs 10:0 to 1 with stock chamber heads). The lower CR allows you to safely run more boost, especially on a stock bottom end. The supercharger and how much boost you let it make is the real power adder.

That is what I was thinking about the valves. Especially with the KenneBell blower.

let me see what I can do about selling my heads so I can pick up yours. Not to hijack you or anything but if anyone wants a set of stock LQ9 heads with dual springs rated to .650" and the 2.08 / 1.6 valves pm me for a price. They have less than 500 miles on them.

thanks,
B
