Blower install on a LT1
Blower install on a LT1 So how bad is it? Kinda curious, whats the worst part? I'm thinking like a S trim for example. It lives where the air pump goes right, so that has to move. But what else would make it so terrible, I can't think of much.

forge the internals before you go through the hassle of the install because it won't be long till you have to rip everything out to rebuild.

You're right, I have seen the after cooler set ups they take up some real estate. I was thinking a non after cooled S trim with an alky kit, simple set up. Mainly just bored and want a project always thought it would be cool to have a blower. Plus I have seen some kits for around $2K.

worst part in my opinion is that damn elbow that goes to the blower itself, I did with engine in he car so it was very hard to stick my hands beside the headers, no room what so ever. If you do it do it with the engine out and drop the whole thing in in one shot. No big deal really it's a lot of fun and a lot of WHINING.
