Whoa is me I charged my battery last night on a trickle charge because i've been having problems with it holding a charge over night. This morning when I went to leave to go to work NOTHING worked. No interior lights, dash lights etc. It might as well not have a battery in it. What could I have fried?
I unhooked the battery and put it on a load tester and its reading 12 volts and 500 amps without load.
funny thing, this battery is less than 6 months old.

Finally got the car to start. Don't know how.. but it fired. Gauge in the dash is reading about 13 volts.
To add, the positive battery cable is very hot to the touch and so is the posts that all the electric componants in the car connects to. I held my hand about 1/4 inch away from the posts and could feel the heat. I unplugged my stereo stuff but I'm not sure if that might have changed things.

I don't think it matters but I do because it's easier to have it out on my work bench next to the load tester than leaving it hooked up in that tight space and trying to hook everything up.
