It prob would but for how long is the question...I would prob stick with a 125 or 150 shot to ensure longer life. Just be sure your not spraying from the dig and make sure you get all the safety features that go along with whatever Nitrous kit you go with. I would rec the Nitrous Outlets wet plate set up.

+2 on the fuel pump! Mine went shortly after I installed mine. Should have just listen to Elliott in the begining when I had it installed Be sure to get the window switch and any other safety stuff

shifting at 6500rpms with a 150 shot will end the motors life in a season or two. You cant rev it to the moon and hit it with juice. Pick one or the other but not both. Well, for any amount of time. I would consider a 125 shot if your not rebuilding it soon.

If you want to add a stand alone fuel system for the nitrous, you could run a 250 shot. I know of a guy that is running a 250shot on a stock a4 lt1, it went 11.80. It only had a catback, no ****! But he had a seperate fuel cell and pump for the nitrous. I would not spray a stock lt1 that hard personally, but it has been done.

If it only went 11.80 it wasnt making an extra 250HP. Should have went faster than that, and probably wouldnt lasted more than a few passes. That is if it was actually seeing and extra 250HP.

Times in sig. LE heads, small cam, Nitro Daves plate kit, running about a 130 shot. Somewhere around 480-490rwhp. Shifting at 6200 so that the stock shortblock, trans and rearend last a little while.

Just because its a 250 shot does not mean it's going to pick up 2.5 seconds. It ran 13.8 off bottle 11.8 @ 118 on. Pretty good run imo. also it has been sprayed multiple times at the track and on the street. Still I would not spray a stock motor that hard, but it can be done!

Bigger jets does not always mean more power. Watched an acquaintance swap from 175 to 200hp jets on a heads/cam car and the car went no faster.
A friend sucessfully used 150-175 for a couple years on a heads/cam stock shortblock setup but number 1 piston gave up in spectacular fashion when he tried 250.
The stock pistons and ring gaps are not meant for this stuff and it is possible to overheat them butting the ring gap and ripping the ring lands out of the top of the piston.
A high volume pump is not going to help, high pressure might but high volume without changing bearing clearances just means more oil bypassed within the pump, never going anywhere to do any good.

You may want to try and dial the fuel jet in with a wide band. Thats what I planned to do with mine, still have the thing, never got a chance to install it or get the gas working. We had a 97 Z28, with a who knows what done tune. We put the car on a wide band and progressivley bumped the jetting up paying attention to what it was doing when we were spraying, adjusting the fuel jet as we went. You may want to do similar
