Yea these heads will need to make a ton more power than the current 23* heads to rationalize spending money on a new intake and new headers that aren't even out yet.

Rest assured that the heads we machine based off of this casting will work with existing LT headers & manifolds.

I think the TFS tech maybe misunderstood the question?

I remember reading that they will share all the same valvetrain and intake/exhaust parts as the standard 23* heads.

Are you saying you are going to machine them to work with stock intake/header setups? Or will they as cast?

x2

I'm very excited to see the results from these heads after being worked over by you guys as they are one of my top considerations for when I build the bottom end up.

+1 I agree there, I may be building another lt1 here in the future unless I go LS, but everything else is LT based so I dunno yet LOL

But if I got another LTx I want these heads, but if they require a custom intake and headers I'll go with something else and not waste my time and money.

So stock intake and headers or custom???

Id like to see some flow #'s as well. These might be a great bang for the buck if the stock intake and headers can be used.

Now I have a 0.030 over 4-bolt with a cast eagle crank/rods and forged SRP pistons at 10.9:1 comp. Its got a comp cams XFI 280 cam, along with an all comp cams valve train, the new trick flow 21* heads, MSD opti, 30lb injectors and all new sensors and supporting parts. Once its all back together I'm planning to take it to a local shop for a dyno tune.

Im hoping to be a little better off than I was before the teardown. Got my fingers crossed.

Steve
who's tuning it for you steve?
