And when I want to find it again, I can't. The one pic I saw for the Mono had most of the middle hump removed, but just enough to still keep it mostly there but allow for the monoblade. I'm sure that would've made things easier.

your crazy if you think pulleys dont make a difference. no they dont produce power but they free it up. i put march pulleys on my car and dropped .3 and i could notice a big diff in the seat of paints test

i agree. i say it would be a stretch to even pick up a tenth with just pulleys. much less noticable power on the street.

I have installed a AS&M monoblade on my TPI. I removed all the material between the two bores for one big oval at the plenum entrance. The IAC air intake is before the throttle blade and the exit is a little past the throttle blade. It idles fine with no problems.
Regarding the monoblade and the LT1 type induction system. I have heard from more than one person that a modified LT1 can benefit from a monoblade. These opinions are based on dyno runs.
One more thing. If installing a 1300cfm monoblade it would not do much good if you air intake system is not capable of supporting that much cfm.
