That's what I've got. I'm considering selling it for that Patriot performance kit with the dual springs though. That way I can have titanium retainers, and they'll handle more lift.

For the people using the 918 springs you need to use the +.050 locks! I went through this with my car and if you use the standard size locks it puts the springs to damn near coil bind if you have a decent size lift cam. Prob. why these people are having issues.... But what do i know, im not a doctor.......

Default Part Number Please!

What is the P/N on these "+.050 locks"? I don't want any problems when I put mine on!

I understand what your saying about high lift with stock locks.. but im going with a slight lower lift cam.. with high duration... .486/.496 on 1.5s.. so prolly a .514/.529 with 1.6s.. if you think i should go ahead and get the +.050 I will

i wasnt refering to your specific parts, i just just generally noting. Id say IMO if your under .550 lift the stock size locks would be fine but my .575/.595 i needed the +.050 locks.

I see no point in the 918 for the price of the Patriot kit.

The Patriot kit comes with duals springs, titanium retainers, locks, locators and new valve seals. This is a better spring and lighter over the steel retainer people are suggesting. There is very little cost for the the Patriot and I promise this spring will outlast the 918 .

The 918 works great on a Ls motor, but there is far less weight in the rockers compared to an LT. This seems to be the thing most people don't think about.

Been using Comp 918's since 2005 on my set up, installed by Speed Inc. No issues, and holding up 67-6800 rpm so far.
