Default mods 4 lt1 m6????

well i already have plans for it but i just wanted to know what you guys think. just trying to find out if i don't know about any good/better mods maybe i will change my plans if you guys post up better ones. i don't have a horsepower goal....... more the better.....no such thing as too much. but the problem is money is an issue and i want to car to be ABLE to be a dd (except for bad weather of course). its not as of now but i want it to be able. i don't want to effect the gas mileage that much but a little is ok. and i don't really want to be picky but try to put the mods in order that i should do them in. so what do you guys think? thanks -Brett

i want a cam but i don't know how much i have to build up the heads, ext. to support it. and i don't know what kinda gas mileage I'm going lose. what kind of gain am i looking at for the rockers? how will that effect mpg? if i go gears im only going 3.73. but im not going to do that too soon cause i already have 3.42. and im going to have to get i new rear end after im making like 450 anyway.

and im thinking 224/224 if i go cam so it can stay street able. what kind of gain would i get with that? and i plan on getting a turbo some time so should i hold off on the cam if i do? like doesn't cam+boost=bad?

if you know the gain and loss of gas mileage of you suggestion try to list it.

I've done the rearend and suspension first myself, 3.73 gears haven't hurt gas mileage that bad at all. No real power adding done in the sig pic.

Well 450rwhp is quite a a bit on a stock rear end, it will be ok untill you deciede on putting tires on it.. As for the turbo.. Look up Blower cams, Etc.. They make great cams for turbos and superchargers...
My opinion on gears is 4.10s, 3.73s isnt that much of a jump... AND a 224/224 sounds like a great street cam, have you decieded on what cam you really want??

As for fuel milage, You have a 6spd so you can get away with a lot more! I wouldnt worry about that too much...

That's what I was going to say. That's pretty impressive right there.

Just some suspension will get that car moving, and it'll be basically stock on the horsepower mods.

This is what I'm doing:

Full exhaust (in the works, have LTs and x-pipe)
CAI (need to get)
Konis(need)
Strano springs (need)
lca and relocation brackets (need)
torque arm (need)
3pc sfc (need)
sway bars (need)
tires (need)
gears (need)

I'm not looking for a drag monster. I'm looking for a fun all around street car, that'll get moving and can carve some curves. And I'd like to me in the mid to low 12's, or at least the 12s.
