Default some updated pics of my project carb. conversion

Heres some updated pic from tonight. Pulled out the 4l60 and up for sale. Master cylinder is out for a manual one. The whole harness is out. Next is pulling the motor and taking more weight out, tubular k-member and a-arms, drag brakes, manual rack etc. Interior, i used a wire wheel to sand off the **** load of seam sealer they used, If you know what your looking at you can see its all gone and did a "test" of semi-gloss paint. Cut off the back seat brackets and the 2 brackets that are welded on the back wheel wells. And in case your wondering "why?!?!" is because im building a race car, not a DD car.

Interesting build. Something that stuck out to me was the diamond plating for the heater box delete, is that not heavy plating?? If it is I would use aluminum as much as possible on things like that to help with the weight issues of a race car.
BTW I like your rearend choice I have the same rear under my car

the diamond plate is still aluminum so its light and still rigid enough to mount my stuff too.
