Well boys, she is done. Got the mech oil pressure gauge installed today, also got the new opti on (thanks larry for hookin me up!)
She has 20-25psi at idle and 60 plus up in the RPM's. The stock gauge is still reading it has no pressure but the autometer is good to go. I put in 20w50 Valvoline VR1 today also.
So it still feels like it needs a few tweeks but she is running, idling, and driving much better. I will get it cleaned up and get some good pics and or course some videos for you guys tomorrow.

I had a little over 10lbs of oil pressure with my LT1. I did many searches on LT1 oil pressure and found that it was still within spec. 10lbs for every 1000 rpm. I still did not like it so over this past winter i ripped the LT1 out to rebuild it myself. The rod and main bearings where both in good shape, no copper showing but all 5 cam bearing where gone all the way down to the copper. So after new rings, bearing and oil pump, its almost ready to fire up. Can't wait to hear it come to life with the cam change.

Hey, glad you finally got your stuff together. I have ALL of my nitrous stuff ready to go on too, look forward to the pics and vids. I will be back in the next few months, we will FOR SURE have to go waste some fuel driving around, and smelling up the streets with raw fuel fouled exhaust. Nice work, and damn the OEM oil pressure guages.

There still is a few things i have to work out....
90% of the time the car is real hard to start, you have to sit there and crank it and it will finally fire off after maybe 3-7 seconds. I'm thinking maybe it could be a fuel problem because it will fire right away like if i start it real soon after it has been running, does that make sense to anyone or what do you guys think? Battery is new, opti is new, coil is new...
Also gotta figure out the weird noise coming from somewhere in the drivetrain, i just gotta look everything over and i'll get that figured out, the starting problem is kinda stumping me though lol...
